Hi. I'm Dave, and I know what it's like to hate the career you once loved...
When I was 18 years old, a classmate made a comment about my "skinny arms." This tiny critique made me self-conscious enough to go out and get my first gym membership. And almost instantly, I fell in love.
I loved exercise. I loved learning about everything related to fitness. I loved experimenting with new techniques. And, I loved helping others who needed some guidance.
A lightbulb went off... Why not turn my passion for fitness into a career?
"I'll get paid to do what I love. This will be my dream career!"
Turns out, it wasn't. It didn't take long for me to get tired of the early mornings, the long hours, the lack of vacation, and the clients who never got the results they wanted. I grew tired of being in the gym all the time and I couldn't imagine doing this for another 10, 20, or 30 years.
I needed out, so I sold my gym and shut down my business. I was unemployed.
Without work, I began to dabble in online business. I read about online entrepreneurs making a living from their blog or website. Why not me?
This dabbling became an obsession. I was excited about work again, but this time, instead of experimenting with workout programs in the gym, I was experimenting with online products, marketing techniques, and sales funnels.
At first, my friends and family thought I was crazy. Why give up a lucrative business to run a website? How would I ever make any money? What was I doing with my life?
Almost a decade later, I now know the risk was worth it. I now help more people as an online fitness entrepreneur than I ever did as a personal trainer. I have no rules to follow - I make my own path and work on projects that interest me. And, yes, I can finally take some vacation time (actually, quite a lot of it!)
I know the path might seem scary, but I'm here as living proof that it's absolutely worth the risk. Want help to make it happen for you? Let's get started...
